This award-winning primary bathroom began as a cluttered, outdated space that offered little comfort or restoration for a client who splits her life between running an automotive shop and practicing naturopathic healing. Overwhelming storage needs, poor light, and lingering mold issues had turned the room into a source of stress rather than sanctuary. A full reconfiguration was required to support wellness, organization, and daily ritual.

The redesign opened the room to its pastoral views—herb garden, beehives, and chickens—by removing dated glass block and grille windows, immediately restoring light and connection to nature. A new pocket door with a resin graphic reinforces this organic narrative, while soft plaster curves at the fireplace are echoed in a custom built-in beside the soaking tub. A neutral, natural palette establishes calm, layered with tactile materials for warmth and depth.

The vanity, designed as apothecary furniture, introduces character and purposeful storage, balanced by mixed metals and a statement antique mirror with integrated LED lighting that reflects daylight and visually expands the space. Curated vintage hardware and apothecary accents complete the composition. The result is a light-filled, vintage-inspired retreat—restorative, organized, and deeply personal.
